Our Mission
As a means to fulfill the mission of Operation Honor Our Heroes, we will run one mile for every Texas service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
For every fallen hero there are eight wounded veterans and wounded warriors. We also run to honor them.
From May 16 through 31, 2010, we ran across Texas to honor our Texas fallen heroes and raise funds to help meet the unmet needs of wounded veterans and their families.
